The Importance of Being a Korean
In high school and like middle school, I would meet New York Koreans and I would meet like LA Koreans. They were like super scary to me really? Cause there were like freer in a way that I couldn't understand. And it wasn't even per se that I was being pushed down. It was more like, you know, my parents as non English speaking, uh, immigrants,. Like they were my model on how to navigate reality.
