There have been over ten thousand hate incidents in the last two years. We feel education will make us less vulnerable, it won't stop it entirely but we have a much better chance of reducing misinformation and people believing stereotypes. There was one high school in los angeles, this happened just a year ago. One non asian student wasn't coming to school because her relatives said that asian teachers and asian american students are spreading the cronovirus. So she stayed out of school.
