Decision Making and Ecological Approaches in Team Sports
Decision making for me is deciding what to do in the game whereas your what you describe is changing intentions and goals for the team. I don't really like about this decision making as a discrete event right one of the things that advantage of of ecological approaches I'm controlling my action all the time using the spacing tau information. That leads to me naturally using that information to pass or shoot or run so it's all part and parcel with the control of action that's the emergent partright? "I think we have this top down and this bottom up element to working with teams in team sports around their decision making" says England manager Roy Hodgson.
