The Kazakh Crisis - What Is It All About?
Japan shut down all of their nuclear reactors, that was about 10% of global demand. Germany followed suit and say they were going to phase out nuclear. And so what we had is basically a big hit to demand. While supply kept coming on. We're talking hundreds of millions of pounds of overproduction from the previous decade. So really this originated as a contrarian bet that that oversupply would eventually be worked through.
