Introduction
Jack Smith, the special counsel has already made Donald Trump the first former president to be formally accused of federal crimes. Investigators are zeroing in on that now infamous chaotic Oval Office meeting that occurred on December 18, 2020. Some of the zaniest ideas were being presented in this meeting, including perhaps finding a way to employ martial law and seize voting machines in critical states that Trump had lost. There was also discussion apparently of naming Sidney Powell who was largely leading an investigation into supposed voter fraud.
