The Trial of Henry Keoh
Henry Keo was found guilty of murdering Anna Jane Chaney in August 1995. His lawyers argued the case should be thrown out as there wasn't an unbiased jury. The judge rejected this, but attempted to rectify the issue by postponing the retrial. A second trial took place four months later and Henry maintained his innocence. This time it took the jury just five and a half hours to reach a unanimous verdict. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison - one of the highest sentences handed down in South Australia.
