"I write about handling resistance because adults kind of suck at it. We take it so personally when someone disagrees with us and unlike kids who can be much better listeners we are typically especially in a disagreement just listening to wait until we have an opportunity to make our case," she says. "We're unfriending each other and blocking each other. Sacrificing a lot of relationships and potential relationships just because we have these disagreements."
