The Importance of Ignorance

We tend to think of morality as something necessary and needed but not desirable. The ancient thought morality was fun. They thought virtue automatically granted happiness. So the argument from moral virtue and the argument from happiness were two sides of the same argument for them, which I think is a lot healthier because it's true. We get a saint and you find a big smile.
