The Importance of Blood Work on a Liver Patient
Dr. Steinhardt: Most common reason for a liver patient to be admitted is for sepsis slash septic shock and these patients as we all know are compromised. Infections are a big one because they're quite subtle to pick up so that gives us an extra challenge. I would not rush for serum ammonia, but he think we'll talk about that.
