Why Is Performance Better?

I saw some news that one company has basically just sort of given up on rich... Rich... RTS, is it? RCS. Which was supposed to be the sort of evolution of SMS,. And people like GSM may have been flogging it for decades. Well, this industry is full of graveyard technology. It's a change all their lives and never actually happened. So that brings us back to my sort of more journalistic argument to a point about things like Edge. I mean, I sort of know the answer, but I want someone who's more expert than I am to explain it.
