The Importance of Space in Furniture Design

If a table is ever any less than about 80 centimeters wide it's going to be problematic in terms of getting plates on it. I'm increasingly discouraging clients from going for the the plastic rat and furniture which is incredibly trendy at the moment. There are far more sustainable products out there particularly cedar. Hard landscaping is obviously usually one of the most expensive elements of a garden. Are there any tips for attractive hard landscaping that you can do on a budget?
