I'll Lay Down My Life to Avoid an Economic Downturn, Right?
The left needs to learn to really get a grip with the expectation that during times of crisis, people will tend to gravitate towards progressive alternatives. The system is supposed to work for people, living people, preferably. And if it has to fall in order to save everybody, then that's more than an acceptable price to pay... i'm quite concerned about what might actually happen over the next couple of months. A, givin trumps at the wheel and he might very well start to see this is a political opportunity under the right circumstances.
