How to Use the Experience Curve in the Design Process
Kids tests are essential in developing for any user but especially with kids because sometimes you just don't have all of the needed information. You can usually see the visible frustration on a kid's face when they're interacting with an experience that is just not working so yeah it's not really hits home and you quickly go back to the drawing board or figure out how to minimize that frustration. For Super Mario I joined as the digital lead about seven or eight months before launch and the original team and digital lead Jonathan Biddick had done an amazing job getting the project up to speed and ready for launch.
