Why I No Longer Haggle When I Travel in Asia

Kate Halfpenny has caused something of a stir about all this with a piece that she wrote this week for the Sydney Morning Herald. She started going to Asia when she was in her 20s and went back 30 years now. And you know, something clicked for me when we went back for the first time back to Thailand after COVID,. which was last year. So it just suddenly seemed ridiculous. We've been buoyed up by by our government and most of us will some of us have been able to keep our jobs, including myself. So you just pay whatever is asked now. That's how you do it.
