And they ended up being areas that went into dereliction very, very quickly. Do you think there is a psychological scar in the English world with regard to apartment dwelling as a general concept? Absolutely. That especially because the English speaking world in particularly the UK has this strong thing about clats. In England, essentially, tower block high rise has been associated with working class and even with the lower end of the working class. The French are actually more anti-high rise than the Brits.
