Chipmunk heard the unmistakable sounds of a person traipsing through the trees, just as the sun was setting. She wiped the remaining smudges off the circles of glass and packed the treasure inside its pouch. Then, she set it down in the open, resting it on a log. This beautiful instrument was made for someone high on the food chain. The boy bounded over and snatched up his lost treasure. And Chipmunk had been right. It was a treasure.
