Next step is to take down the inferior pulme ligament and incise the pericardian. It's important to know that this can be it's not easy to grasp thepericardium. The aorta will be flat and actually difficult to differentiate from the oesophagus, which is just anterior to it. And then you can use your typically non dominant hand to guide a clamp held in your minent hand across the entire vessel.
