The Beaman Memorial Public Library

The Beaman Memorial Public Library is the place where I, anyway, used to go to know things. It's occurred to me more than once when working on the last archive that this building, this little town library, lies at its heart. Out front of the library, there's a little monument to the town's revolutionary era founder, Ezra Beaman. You can't get water for your horse here anymore, it's just decorative.
