Introduction
Nate Holdren is a professor at Drake University and the author of Injury and Pove-Rished Workplace Accidents, Capitalism and Law in the Progressive Era. The court basically held that employers owe no duty of care to non-employees who get COVID on the job and then spread it to relatives without undermining the American economy. We'll talk about what this case and the results of this case tell us in terms of the way that the economy is literally privileged over life in the very structure of capitalism.
