Is Over Capacity a Problem in the Global Economy?
There is not an over capacity of goods in the global economy, full stop. There are billions of people living on the edge of subsistence who could benefit from all the so called over capacity in theglobal economy. The problem is a lack of effective demand. And that gets to a deeper problem in the way that growth is working right now - there just aren't enough consumers to absorb all the things that are being produced in it.
