Julian Zelizer: I'm not really quite sure what of the story I'm about to tell qualifies as an endorsement. We were in Spain the children were drinking Santa because my approach to vacation parenting is unlimited soda which really bothers the other parents around me sorry parents vacation for studying a bad example but I found it to be a good way to um incentivize uh keeping up with the arduousness of travel for my children so they would drink a bunch of Fanta and some coke on vacation.
