The Long Loss Never Seen Ending to Vacation
Vacations original ending was repurposed for Christmas vacation where cousin Eddie Randy Quaid kidnapped Clark's boss and drags him to the Griswold home. The new ending for vacation was shot many months after the production had initially wrapped. Anthony Michael Hall went through a serious growth spurt and grew three inches during this time. During scene shot in Wally world he towers over his on screen mother. This is part of the reason why Rusty became the older sibling in the movie although he was initially written as the younger sibling and Audrey was older.
