Theodore Roosevelt and Bill Sewell
Roosevelt was a homeschooled or tutored by a gentleman named Arthur Cutler who would go on to find a famous school for boys in New York. And Roosevelt was his first student and they were very close. In 1878, Roosevelt and Cutler took the train and off they wanted to go see Bill Sewell up in Island Falls. When they got back, all they could do was talk about Bill Sewell and Island Falls.
