In the same way that it will be easier for me to consider changing my mind if I'm in a high-dressed environment, so also it's easier to imagine moving the nuances of what we mean by rape is bad or racism is bad. In a context where you really trusted that all of society understands that racism is bad and that people aren't using this nitpicking game as an excuse to maybe remove the whole basic part of racism is bad,. But if you're afraid that people are playing these games then you double down and you just say no no it's bad it's bad. Stop adding detail it’s bad.
