The Importance of Doubt
"I think that Jesus just isn't afraid of doubt. He just doesn't sound all stressed out when people like doubt whether or not he's the Messiah," says Rick Steves. "If you follow the truth wherever it leads, it will eventually lead you to the door of Jesus." How do we cultivate faith in the corrosive soil of a secular city? That is the cultural message: If you're smart, you're doubting skeptic. If you're simple and foolish and educated, you're a person in faith.
