Georgina, What Is Your Most Vivid Memory of That Visit?
i was there the year before the revolution, when change was just about visible in other other countries of eastern europe. And rumania, wit people were sunken in a, in a very visible despair that i found when i entered the country. It had these grim atmospheres with these pools of light in the streets and then darkness in the streets. A people sought me out because they were desperate. There was a sense of entrapment in the country, an people wanted to escape. So it was a very powerful experience, and i had fascinating conversations with people and really fell fell in love with the country.
