Fiber and Dietary Cholesterol

Fiber can, to some degree, bind cholesterol in the gut and get it out of your intestine before it. It's readily available for absorption or incorporation in tabiliary micelles. fiber probably has some regulatory effect on some of the microbes that are in our gut. Probiotics is just more evidence that the bacteria you put down there can change cholesterol to cholesterol - they're called lactobacilli.
