Student body president Harrison Wills didn't find anything progressive about Dr. Singh's plan. In order to access the new classes, poor students would be forced to take out loans or win scholarships. The community college is the greatest social equalizer in California, period. I know students who are living in their car and they're actually able to come to SMC and they have hope.
