The Importance of Training to Failure
Training to failure is something that's really cool at the very end of your mesocycle before you deload. It probably drives a little bit more stimulus than most normal training. If you leave two reps in the tank on average, almost every power lifter does for everything. You get similar muscle gains over time and definitely strength gains, but much less fatigue since you have to deload less often. I think it's underutilized by most people who train not hard enough. Overutilized by people who are really trying to train hard and optimally.
