There's a sort of misnomer that we're permanently on the edge of protein deprivation in this country. The recommended dietary estimates for protein are way over the top when you actually look at what the real figures show. For most people listening switching from meat to vegetarian is not going to cause you any protein restrictions at all but as rupee said, focus on those plants that do give you enormous protein levels.
