The Glory of God

Moses' Christ-like intercession in verses 7 to 17, as Moses leverages his own favor with God for the sake of the people. What Moses could not yet see of God's glory, we have seen far more fully in Jesus and especially at the cross. Verses 7 to 11 create a very interesting tension with verses 1 to 6. So, total depravity, unconditional election, and finally, alien righteousness.
