Evaluating Risperidone's Effectiveness in Youth Anorexia Treatment

This chapter critically examines the effectiveness of risperidone in treating anorexia nervosa among children and adolescents, based on an observational study of 120 patients. Despite being well tolerated, the findings indicate that risperidone did not lead to significant improvements, underscoring the complexity and challenges of managing this high-stakes disorder.
