The development of the Bitcoin community in Lebanon has kind of been hampered because the central bank is very conservative. The idea that they were going to let an exchange happen was completely out of the question. But still, a peer-to-peer telegram group market is developing and it is growing. And people still like to laugh about Bitcoin. People still think Bitcoin is a stupid joke. But a lot of people in Lebanon have avoided financial ruin because they have a small position in Bitcoins.
