The World Is Closer to Home, but It Feels Like It Is

i think part of it just, again, speaking for myself here, but part of it is just tha things like linked in and social media generally, i guess ha've just brought the world somehow closer together. It feels very much like i've got plenty of connections who ucranian and followers who are ucranians. And i was kind of wondering why that is. Obviously it's not actually closer to home, but it feels like it is. I must admit, i'm much less nationalistic, im, than i used to be when i was younger.
