The Synod of Bishops Is Not an Authoritative Delegation of the People of God.
The people of God were not in their totality, either invited or in attendance of this. In fact, it's very difficult to imagine any way in which that would be the case. A synod of bishops is not an authoritative representation of the college of bishops. And what they produced is not the census fiday of the faithful around the world. On the contrary, there's not a census fiday even amongst the people who are quoted in the document.
