Self-Driving Cars - Decision Making in a Driving Situation

In warfare speed is determinative in many cases and AI is just way faster than we are. I feel confident that in the future we will have self-driving cars and they will actually be safer at some point than human drivers which is why they will be adopted but there are decisions that have to be made in a driving situation. In medical applications of artificial intelligence you know diagnosing people's illnesses and treating them if the If the AI is wrong that can cause big problems. At some point it's likely that AIs will be better than human doctors in making diagnoses.
