There's actually some really interesting studies on skin tensile strength. Massaging your skin in the direction of pull before you rock climb and it will be stronger. Thinner skins are a little bit more durable even than thicker skin. I'm massaging my skin ever since we started talking about it. It feels quite a lot better actually. You see just people with bad skin. They're like one more go.
