There is a place for self criticism within the community. But what we feel more comfortable doing is never disparaging, r criticizing our own people. And that's the inverse of what you see happening in the new testament well. Like i think about how often it's like the people of israel are like, are you kitting me? These other people are so much worse. And god, through the prophet like habacok, is literally like, i don't care how bad they are, like you. I'm coming for you first.
