David Frum: I want to rejoin the story where you kind of enter the picture. You published your first academic article on group selection in 1975, and it was titled A Theory of Group Selection. But there's actually kind of a cool story around that, because in 1974, you got Ed Wilson, the pre-eminent and towering man at Harvard, who had him sponsor the paper. And I want you to tell us the story of when you burst into George C. Williams office at Stony Brook.
