How to Remember Someone's Name
I have developed all sorts of strategies for trying to remember or get out of awkward situations where I have no idea who someone is. Roosevelt had this thing, which is that when he met... The first thing is to listen to the name. Also you can think, or do I know somebody else with that name? You imagine again the two of them together and all these things can start to help you remember someone's name. If it's a famous person, like so if it's their name was Charles, for example, you might imagine them with a crown on their head because then again, that visual memory will kick off next time you meet them. So there's not much you can do
