Socrates and Cera Fon were debating the art of rhetoric. Gorgias, Socrates' teacher, said that most people are ignorant so you give them what is good enough for them. You don't have to give them all the details or a lot of information that they can't even handle in gorgias' view. Rhetoric accomplishes everything through words, he says; there's nothing else on other concepts than ideas.
