The War on Cash

A CBDC is a form of cash that extinguishes debt or doesn't create debt in the transaction. Cash does not create debt in any way. It is instantly settled and that's what a CBDC is. The only form of money printing that we really have today is banks making loans, credit creation through the private sector banks. A CBDC gives government more control over the supply and the use of money, but it is not a war on cash.
