The Avoidance of a War Between China and the United States

A detente between the US and China would be a disaster for Australia. But I'm saying the avoidance of a war between China and the United States is more important than keeping us out of the war. America's got to learn a sophistication that in some respects, China will overtake them. In another 10 years, we might be looking at a share of the world economy not that much different from what we've got today. If America becomes focused that everything China does is a threat to our dominance, our leadership, our primacy. You got a paranoid state that feeds a pre war tension.
