Rural women transition from less rative, more valuable casual work to intensive self employment activities that are characterized by greater and more stabile returns. Women who participated in this programme reported a lot of responsibility in live stock rearing activities. They also reported being more involved in household sen making interms of those live stock. At the same time, they reported a leadership in the community itself help groups. And many of these groups, self help groups, combine together and establish a hoop for milk cell.
