The Benefits of Unrealistic Optimism in Trusting Experts
I think there are many reasons for this one of them is the fact that we want to place our faith in others so that we can avoid some of the responsibilities. There's also consistent work that people just generally learn better from positive information it's just a quirk of the brain if you will. I would say that my perspective on psychology and neuroscience then a lot of this is that usually the answer is somewhere in between where it's a bit of everything but hey maybe rats also don't like to trust experts.
