Is Manual Therapy Beneficial for Fibromyalgia Patients?

Patients with fibromyalgia require more external means to modulate their pain. Those are folks that I really don't spend time with manual therapy because generally what you don't see are those within sessions or in that single session, pain modulation responses with movements and any other type of pain relief based activity. In 2014 in manual therapy we looked at using PA as if a person responded positively with a pain modulatory approach to a PA for the low back. It absolutely was. So there is evidence to support this approach and quite a few studies and that's clinically that's what I look for.
