The Dissenting Judge's Interpretation of Hinkley's Statement
President hinkley said tithing funds have not and will not be used to acquire this property nor will they be used in developing it for commercial purposes. The dissent is saying that when president hinkley says these resources together with the earnings of invested reserve funds that that language right there he says hinkley thus clarified that the church would use earnings from invested reserve tithing funds. "I just frankly i think that's ridiculous," President Hinkley told julia during a Q&A session last week.
