Tinder is an amazing story on this. They started by just trying to invite their friends, who would just tex their friends and say, he were building a new ap, can you try it? And the problem with that is that's almost kind of like an insult. So they built the first version of tinder, which was actually pretty similar to where we ended up even to day. The idea was opened up the next day after 500 people went in this party, and they got 500 installs, and nobody used the ap that day.
