The Importance of Executive Summary in Reports
I think decks work better the more senior you go inside an organization and reporting in particular as a thing that is designed for executive summary. You want it to be executive friendly, right? You want to get to like, if you only look at the first five slides of this report, you've got all the information you need to know. I'm probably a little bit biased because I'm kind of a deck junkie, but yes, I think the presentations work better for that style of thing. And some counterpoints to that might be if it's incredibly data driven in which case you might want to send a spreadsheet instead of a presentation with a presentation. There's some different alternatives there.
