When Is a Player Going to Play?
A week ago on my podcast, we discussed where I stood on when a player is injured, but he wants to play. Over the next few days, I hear outrage coming from the same people who complain about the game being too soft. It took me back to the question in my cohost asked me, when is a player do you decide between playing and looking out for your best interests? My answer now is day one because no one is going to advocate for you,. Not the fans, not the team organization, not the medical staff, and certainly not the NFL themselves. You can't serve two masters.
